SHILLONG: The ANVC (B) has said that frequent accusations against its cadres will result in their alienation.

“The State Government’s accusations are all but false. An auto driver who was stabbed near Edenbari camp is one plot that failed. If he had died the case would have been slapped on us. Only a high level probe would justify the ill intended policy of the State Government,” the ANVC (B) said.

According to the outfit, the cadres suffered immense torture after false cases were framed against them.

“The state is trying to make our life hell just as they did for Sohan. State gave free hand to ANVC men who captured Sohan’s businesses and hunted him till he returned to the jungle. Same is being done to us now. It would only give rise to many Sohans,” the ANVC(B) said.
