NONGSTOIN: The FKJGP, Rambrai circle, has demanded the State government to form a C&RD Block in Rambrai.
Justifying the demand, FKJGP Rambrai circle president, Wadbor Nongphud told newsmen that Rambrai area has a population of 3,767 as per 2011 census with around 100 villages under it and deserves a block.
“The state Government has spent crores of rupees for the four newly formed districts. Therefore, it is not a burden for it to create only one block in Rambrai,” Wadbor said. “If the government fails to do so, we will have no other option but take to agitation,” he added.
