Mokokchung DC directs village councils to preserve Amur Falcon

Kohima: Mokokchung Murohu Chotso Deputy Commissioner (DC), has directed the members of the village councils (VC) and Gaon Burhas (GB) as agents of the district administration to enforce this order by way of giving wide publicity to their respective villagers.
According to official sources on Sunday, the DC, in his order said village councils and GBs were also assigned to impose fine as per the order for the preservation of Amur Falcon. Administrative officers and police personnel have been directed to conduct the mobile checking from time to time ensuring the complete ban on hunting and killing of wild Birds and wild Animals within thedistrict.  (UNI)
