I-Day events

The Central Government Employee Residence Welfare Association (CGERWA), AG quarter, Motinagar is organising a host of sports and cultural activities from Aug 4 till August 15 as part of the Independence Day celebrations, including a women’s night cricket tournament. The prize distribution will be held on August 15 at its community hall, Motinagar.

Golden jubilee

The Junior Christian Endeavour Society, Mawprem, will celebrate its golden jubilee on August 16-17 at Mawprem Presbyterian Church.

The biennial conference of the State Trained Nurses Association of India will be held on August 12 and 13 at 11 am at NEIGRIHMS auditorium. Health and Family Welfare Minister A.L. Hek will be the chief guest.
