SHILLONG: Doordarshan Kendra, Shillong has informed that local transmission of the Kendra would be extended by two hours every day with effect from August 15.
The local transmission timing of the Kendra will now be from 3 pm to 9 pm.
The transmission from 3.00 pm to 6.45 pm will be available on both terrestrial and satellite mode, while the extended transmission from 7 pm to 9 pm will be available only on satellite mode.
