A public peace rally will be organised on August 19 at Resubelpara, North Garo Hills, to express solidarity with the victims of violence.
Musical prog
SPICMACAY Meghalaya Chapter is organising a two-day musical programme on August 17 at IIM, Shillong and August 18 at English and Foreign Language University, Mawlai. Padmabhushan Awardee Pandit Budhadeb Dasgupta, Sarod mastero, would be performing at the programme.

Raj Bhavan will be organising an event for planting of trees on the occasion of Independence Day. Governor K.K. Paul will be the chief guest.
