Kohima: A low intensity earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale shook Northeastern states, including Nagaland Saturday night.
According to the Regional Seismological Centre at Upper Shillong, the earthquake occurred around 2209 of Saturday night.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage to property. The epicenter of the tremor was in India-Myanmar border in Manipur. The tremor was also felt in Nagaland, Meghalaya, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. (UNI)
