SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Architects Forum (MAF) is organising an exhibition-cum-seminar on the theme “SHILLONG NEXT – Visions for the Future” on August 22 on the premises of the Arts and Culture Hall, State Central Library at 12 noon.
The event would showcase a public exhibition of architectural works by members of the MAF on August 22 and 23 to create awareness among the public on the importance of sensitive design.
They will also exhibit an art installation by the MAF along with films on architecture to create awareness among the public of Shillong on world architecture.
Formed in 1997, MAF is a forum of local architects registered with the Council of Architecture to act as a platform for the welfare of its members and the profession and for the exchange of ideas with regards to architectural development in the State.
