Clarification
The District School Education Officer, East Khasi Hills has clarified that the selection test for private candidates for the SSLC 2014 will be held on September 15. Application forms will be issued by the Headmasters of centres concerned and the last date for submission of forms is August 28.

One unidentified person (70-75 years) was found lying in Garikhana and was subsequently admitted in Civil Hospital on August 11 where he expired on August 14. Relatives have been asked to approach police.
