Missing woman’s body found

SHILLONG: Police have fished out the body of a 70-year-old woman, who was reported missing, from a river at Mylliem village on August 20.

The victim has been identified as Pristina Langstieh of Mylliem Madan Ing Syiem.

More cases: In yet another drowning case, the body of one Badajied Mylliemngap (26) of Lawsohtun, was fished out from Mawphlang Dam, East Khasi Hills on Wednesday.

Earlier on August 19, Silchang A Sangma (40s) drowned while he was crossing Simsang River at Nangalbibra, South Garo Hills .
