Training programme

SHILLONG: A field demonstration-cum-training programme on “Gravity-fed Drip Irrigation System” was conducted at the farmer’s field in Umeit, Ri-Bhoi recently. The demonstration programme was carried out under a research project funded by the Department of Science and Technology (Water Technology Initiative).

The project entitled “Techno-economic feasibility of Gravity-fed Drip Irrigation system in Hilly Regions of Meghalaya” is being implemented by College of Postgraduate Studies (CPGS), Barapani.
