Training on first aid, disaster management concludes in city

SHILLONG: A trainers’ course on First Aid and Disaster Management organised by the Indian Red Cross Society, Meghalaya Branch at the Meghalaya Bharat Scouts and Guides Headquarters, here, concluded on Friday.
Altogether 48 trainees consisting of lecturers, teachers, officials from different colleges and schools and various State departments attended and completed the professional course offered by St. John’s Ambulance, India.
Course Instructors Kholie Dolfe from Nagaland and Rituraj Kaushik from Assam were deputed by the national headquarters to conduct the course.
The course was inaugurated by general secretary of Indian Red Cross Society, Meghalaya, A. Swer.
Provisional certificates were distributed to the trainees at a valedictory function held on Friday.
