CM convenes meet to discuss NGT ban

SHILLONG: Chief Minister Mukul Sangma will hold a meeting with all the MLAs, MDCs and representatives of association of coal mine owners, coal exporters, coal suppliers and other stakeholders in the State to discuss the issues emanating from the orders passed by the National Green Tribunal (NGT) in the matter of All Dimasa Students’ Union, Dima Hasao District Committee versus the State of Meghalaya and others, on August 29 at 11.30 am in the State Central Library Auditorium, Shillong.

It may be mentioned that all deputy commissioners have been instructed to advise the association within their respective districts to attend the said meeting.
