Coal trucks seized

NONGSTOIN: The West Khasi Hills Police have seized as many as five coal lade trucks in the district from August 26-27 while conducting routine checking to restrict illegal transportation of coal following the NGT ban on mining of the mineral.
Three coal loaded trucks were seized from Nongstoin and two from Mairang.
The police informed that 38 cases of illicit coal trade have been registered sinc ethe NGT ban.
