NONGSTOIN: Violent windstorm accompanied by rain rendered nine families in Ksehkohlong under Mawthadraishan C&RD Block homeless on Saturday afternoon. Several trees were uprooted.People took refuge in nearby churches and RCC buildings. Headmen of Ksehkohlong Ioanis Lyngdoh informed that there was no casualty. Approximate loss could well be well over Rs 40 lakh, he added.
