Wadamika Lyngdoh has been awarded the Degree of Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) by NEHU for her thesis ‘Evaluation and characterization of selected plants of Meghalaya for their hypoglycemic and anti-hyperglycemic activity’, under the supervision of Prof. D. Syiem, Department of Biochemistry, NEHU. She is the daughter of W.S. Kynjing, Retd. Director (Transmission), MePTCL, and M. Lyngdoh and wife of Dr S. Tariang, of Lawjynriew, Nongthymmai, Shillong.
