TURA: The ANVC-B has called for a dawn-to-dusk Garo Hills bandh on September 4 demanding the intervention of the Central government to restore peace in troubled western region of the state. “ANVC-B declares bandh from 5 am to 5 pm in Garo Hills demanding central government’s intervention. We also demand NIA/CBI inquiry into ‘secret killing’ order issued by Mukul Sangma. We have lost faith in the state government,” stated ANVC-B leader Doang D Shira in a press statement on Tuesday afternoon.
