Actress Angelina Jolie’s dress at her wedding to fiance Brad Pitt had their children’s drawings and artworks on it.
The gown and the veil had flowers and cartoons drawn on by the couple’s six children. Pitt, 50, and Jolie, after enjoying a nine-year long courtship, tied the knot on August 23 at their gateway in France in an intimate ceremony, attended by their children and close friends, reported Hello magazine.
Jolie, 39, looked stunning in an all-white Atelier Versace gown, while Pitt made for a suave bridegroom in a black suit from his closet, with a tie borrowed from one of his sons because he forgot to pack his.
“Luigi is like family to me and I couldn’t imagine anyone else making this dress. He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together,” Jolie said of Versace’ designer Luigi Massi, who created her outfit. Jeweller Robert Procop, who designed Jolie’s engagement ring, created the couple’s wedding bands as well.
Their children were the informal wedding planners for the big day as eldest sons Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, walked their mother down the aisle, flower girls Zahara, 9, and Vivienne, 6, tossed petals gathered from the garden, and Shiloh, 8, and Knox, 6, served as ring bearers.
The kids also helped write their parents’ vows. Pax also baked the cake. “It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter. It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family,” said the newlyweds. (PTI)
