KHADC clarification

SHILLONG: The KHADC on Wednesday clarified that the Tricolour was lowered by the staff of the office assigned with the task of hoisting and lowering the Flag daily which was done in conformity with the Flag Code of India that the Flag should be flown from sunrise to sunset irrespective of the weather conditions.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, the KHADC denied that the Flag had been pulled down by a section of the crowd which had gathered on the office premises of the Council during the meeting of ARPA on Tuesday.
