SHILLONG: It was a mixed day for St. Anthony’s College in the North- Eastern Hill University Inter-College Basketball (Men & Women) Tournament, 2014 which concluded on Friday.
In the men’s section final, St. Anthony’s College beat St. Edmund’s College, Shillong by 63-46 points.
However, in women’s Section St. Anthony’s College tasted defeat. In the final NEHU, Shillong beat St. Anthony’s College by 50-49 points.
Kevilhoubei Khezhie of St. Edmund’s College, Shillong was adjudged as the best player in men’s section, while the best player trophy in women’s section went to Ibahunlang Abigail Lyngdoh from St. Anthony’s College, Shillong.
The tournament was organised by the Sports Department of NEHU.
