Results of painting, drawing competition

SHILLONG: The results of the Manik Ghosh Memorial Drawing and Painting competition organized by the Rilbong Sports & Cultural Club have been announced.

In Group-A Madhuja Das of Loreto Convent School took the first prize followed by Raja Kr. Gupta of Gorkha Patshala HS School (2nd) and Radhika Dey of St. Margaret’s HS School (3rd). In Group-B Amrisha Dutta and Baiamon S.S. Sohtun, both from Pine Mount School won the first and the second prize while Arpita Das of Dainty Buds School won the third prize. In Group-C Sunparna of Step by Step School was first, followed by Sneha Das of St. Mary’s Montessori in second place and Aashilesha of St. Margaret’s HS School and Mihika of All Saint’s HS School in joint third place. In Group-D Yogma Joshi of Pine Mount School was first, Parthama Nath of St. Mary’s was second and Amreel Ansary of Gorkha Pathshala HS School was third. In Group-E Aman Bhowmik of All Saint’s HS School, Krishna Thakuria of Laban Bengalee Boys’ HS School and Pritha Choudhury of Army Public School won the top three prizes, respectively.

Besides, 29 students have also been selected for consolation prizes.

The prize distribution ceremony will be held on September 20 at Rilbong Sports & Cultural Club Conference hall at 4 pm.
