SHILLONG: Rangdajied United registered their first win of this season’s Shillong Premiere League after a dominating display over a lackluster Langsning on Tuesday.

Veteran Bansharai Sunn provided a 19th minute lead via a header following a cross that set the Blues on track.

Langsning’s defence struggled to contain Rangdajied’s aggressive forward line and conceded a second goal in the 41st minute with the Blues’ S. Lanong finding the back of the nets. Rangdajied’s third goal came 12 minutes later when E. Singh collected a pass outside the box before timing his shot perfectly to beat the keeper.

Langsning’s missed opportunities throughout the match also had to be blamed for their loss. Midfielder Chesterfield Nongdhar fired a crackling shot that hit the crossbar with a vengeance while Victor Shadap also failed to capitalize on an easy chance late in the game.
