Swift seeks blogging classes
Singer Taylor Swift has been asking her fans for tips on how to use blogging platform Tumblr. The 24-year-old singer posts regularly on social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, but Tumblr is a mystery to her, reports a website. “Taylor here. I’m locking myself in my room and not leaving until I figure out how to use my Tumblr. Well, I might leave for a second to get a snack or something but that is IT. I am FOCUSED. I have lots of questions, help me.,” Swift posted. One friendly fan quickly responded to her message, and asked the singer to send him a list of questions. Swift was quick to bombard the fan with queries like: “Is re-blogging what I’m doing right now and is this the best way to write back to someone? Also how do I get GIFs? How do you post them? How do I have one of those convos you always see screen shots of on Instagram? Is that by re-blogging or is there some sort of conversation board on here? Overwhelmed. Taking deep breaths.” (IANS)
Shia LaBeouf obtains restraining order against stalker
Transformers’ star Shia LaBeouf has obtained a restraining order against a deranged woman named Graciela Nahle who threatened to blow up his house. Graciela was ordered to stay away from the 28-year-old actor for at least 100 yards. According to court documents obtained by the site, Graciela had showed up at Shia’s house for three times in recent months. The woman once showed up eating watermelon on the ‘Nymphomaniac’ actor’s driveway and lashed out when she was asked to leave. She told Shia at that time, “I am going to blow up your house! I am going to blow up the world! You are Albert Einstein and we belong together.” In another incident, Graciela showed up at Shia’s house while bringing a baby with her. Last month, Shia called police after Graciela showed up right at his doors. She was then arrested for trespassing and criminal threats. After pleading no contest to trespassing, Graciela was sentenced to 45 days in jail, but was released after just four days. (PTI)
Nick Jonas gives up purity ring
Singer Nick Jonas no longer wears his purity ring and says he has changed a lot in recent years, but insists he still has love for the church. The 22-year-old singer, who started wearing the band when he was 11 to symbolise his desire to abstain from sex until marriage, admits he has grown-up a lot in recent years, reported Us magazine. “This is a real growth in me and not something I’m doing anymore. But I’ve got my set of values, things that are important to me now at this point in my life and that’s all that matters,” Nick said. “I’ve had an incredibly intense journey with faith and religion and my own growth. My belief in God is still very strong and important to me as a person and I think that’s all that should matter. I grew up in a church environment and still have love for the church. “What’s important now is my relationship with God, and that I not judge and that I not be judge.” Nick’s older brother Joe Jonas, 25, who also previously wore a purity ring, revealed last year that he lost his virginity when he was 20. Shooting for next James Bond film starts in December
The shooting on the 24th ‘James Bond’ film will begin filming on December 6 this year. Actor Daniel Craig will return as the iconic British spy for his fourth outing as Bond. Also reprising their roles will be Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner and Ben Whishaw as Q, reported Variety. Sam Mendes, who directed the last Bond film ‘Skyfall’, will be back with the 24th one, which is penned by John Logan. The script was rewritten by the team of Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. The three scribes collaborated on ‘Skyfall’ also. MGM, Sony and producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli announced last summer that they had locked in release dates for the film, setting the UK launch for October 23, 2015, and US for November 6, the same year.
