SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Veterinary Services Association, Ri Bhoi district unit, on Thursday organised a farmers’ workshop cum health camp at Zonal Feed Mill, Umsning. Parliamentary Secretary Celestine Lyngdoh, Dr. J.S. Jyrwa, Director, AH&V Department graced the programme which was also attended by 150 farmers of the area.
100 dogs were vaccinated against Rabies during the health camp. On the occasion, an interaction with the farmers was held in order to learn more about their grievances and to redress the same.
