College week
St Mary’s College, Shillong will organize its college week from September 22-27. The grand finale of the event will be held at the St Mary’s Secondary School Hall from 11 am on September 27.
Inauguration
On the occasion of World Tourism Day, Chief Secretary, PBO Wajrri will inaugurate the food gallery in Don Bosco Museum Mawlai on September 27.
Office bearers
The Annual conference of All India Organization of Scheduled Castes, Meghalaya branch elected new office bearers. Debabrata Roy was elected the president while Jayanta Malakar is the general secretary. 19 executive body members and two advisors were also elected.
Hindi Diwas
Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Meghalaya Mandal and district office, Shillong in association with Central Institute of Hindi, Shillong and Metallica Sargam Sports and Cultural Club, Shillong organized Hindi Diwas on Saturday at R.B.Anupchand Hindi Secondary School premises.
