Body recovered

Md. Mukshed Ali lodged a complaint at Mahendraganj PS that on Sept 19, the highly decomposed body of his daughter Hasa Rani Begum (30) was recovered from a paddy field near PWD Junction at Nandichar village (SWGH). The deceased was reportedly missing since Aug 18, and is suspected to have been murdered by unknown miscreants.

Abduction case

Rophina Nongtdu lodged a complaint at Khliehriat PS that on Sept 10 around 8.30 am, one Md. Jabir Uddin abducted her daughter (23) from Dkhiah East (EJH) in a Maruti Alto car (AS-11-AC-7539).

Ban violation

On Sept 19 around 4 pm, while conducting vehicles checking duty at Khliehriat (EJH), Police detained two trucks (ML-04B-4980 & ML-04A-4485) driven by Ioo Lapasam and Prem Ryngkhlem respectively, for transporting coal in violation of NGT order.

Accident case

On Sept 21 around 7 pm, one unidentified truck knocked down one Officer Nellar (58) at Wahthawhiah Pdengshnong, Sohra (EKH). Victim sustained injuries and was removed to CHC Sohra where the Medical Officer on duty declared him brought dead.
