Freshers’ meet
The Mising Students’ Union Shillong organised a Freshers’ Meet cum Social Get Together on Saturday with a day-long cultural programme at Old Guest House, NEHU Campus, Shillong. Gautam Chintey, Financial Advisor to the North Eastern Council (NEC), was present as the chief guest.
Natl seminar
The Science Department of Union Christian College, under the Internal Quality Assurance Cell, will organize a national seminar on recent trends in Science and Technology to celebrate the silver jubilee of the Science department, on September 24 from 9 am onwards at the College Auditorium. Governor K.K. Paul will be the chief guest.
Office bearers
Dorbar Shnong Umsohsun has elected new office bearers with Paul J. Sawian as Rangbah Shnong and Kitboklang Shullai as general secretary, besides eight executive members.
SMU event
Sikkim Manipal University, Shillong, will present Impressions 2014 which is a two-day event. It will commence on September 26 at Don Bosco Youth Centre Auditorium.
