SHILLONG: The Central Puja Committee, while condoling the death of eight persons killed in landslide at Barapathar (Mawbah), has asked the Government to provide adequate ex-gratia to the families of the victims.
The CPC said the Committee, in an emergency meeting, expressed solidarity with the families of the landslide affected victims.
The CPC said that it has decided to extend all possible assistance to the families of the deceased.
