SHILLONG: Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre will organise a Convocation programme on September 30 at 2 pm for around 1200 youths who have completed Computer Training at the institute.
Revered Swami Atmapriyanandaji Maharaj, Vice Chancellor of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University, ) Kolkata, will be the chief guest while H.M. Shangpliang, Director, Social Welfare department, will be the guest of honour.
The function will include awarding of scholarships and computer gifts to few students.
A few youths who were provided Stenography Training and another two hundred youth who attended a 15-day workshop on English Language and Communication Skills as add-on training for employability will also be awarded certificates.
Recently Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre has been declared as an Authorized Testing Centre for direct Certification by Microsoft, USA, which is a first in the whole of North East India.
