NorthEast United reveal their armour

SHILLONG: The NorthEast United FC launched their jersey for the inaugural season of the Hero ISL 2014 amongst much fanfare along with the honourable CM of Assam, Tarun Gogoi who was present to grace the occasion.

Every facet of the jersey has been meticulously worked upon to bring out the culture and the unity amongst the 8 states that have come together to become the NorthEast United FC. Moreover it was a strategist management decision to bring on board local talent that is par excellence Mr. Rupam Borah from Virus Designs to help built the NEUFC marketing initiative as a whole. Club release said.

 John Abraham, owner of NEUFC seemed very emotional stated, “A team jersey is always something special to look forward to and I know that all our fans have been waiting to get their eyes on it. This jersey will become our identity on the pitch. I hope our team wears this jersey with the same amount of pride that I wear mine with pride. I am humbled by the presence of our honourable Chief Minister and I am ever so grateful to the Government of Assam for their unconditional support”.

Along with the launch their kit, the NEUFC also released their rock anthem and announced online ticket sales on bookmyshow.com.
