BSF troops nab FICN racketeer

SHILLONG: BSF troops deployed at South Garo Hills district at BOP Gaonbari apprehended one Bangladeshi fake currency racketeer identified as Sital Nokret (25), from Netrakona (Bangladesh) while he was trying to infiltrate into Indian territory from Bangladesh.

BSF recovered currency valued at Rs.8,000 from his possession.

The BSF troops also apprehended three Indian and Bangladeshi smugglers and also seized 103 cft wooden logs, 200 bottles of liquor, 14 numbers of cattle heads, 15 bottles of phensedyl and other contraband items, worth Rs.10 lakh while being smuggled out from India to Bangladesh, during last week.
