A ‘fare’ decision

NONGSTOIN: In an interesting decision commercial tourist vehicle operators of Nongstoin have decided to lower the fare from Nongstoin to Shillong and vice versa from existing Rs 180 to Rs. 160.

Revealing this on Monday, Nongstoin Tourist Association (NTA) president S.Syiemiong said the decision was taken due the rise in prices of essential commodities which is giving a tough time to common people. The new fare will be effective from Tuesday.
