RR Colony road to be repaired after rainy season

SHILLONG: UDP legislator Jemino Mawthoh informed that the repair work for the road at RR Colony, Rynjah could not be taken up due to incessant rain.

The Nongthymmai legislator said on Friday that he had taken up the issue of repair of the road with the PWD and the concerned contractor will commence the repair work once the rainy season ends. “As per the residents of the colony, the road has not been repaired for 30 years,” Mawthoh said.He observed that poor road conditions are not confined to his constituency but was visible across the city.

“The PWD needs to take immediate steps to repair these roads,” he said.
