SHILLONG: The girl who jumped from the terrace of an educational institution on Monday is recovering.
Informing this, police on Tuesday said that the girl, who is still in ICU, is responding to the treatment.
Meanwhile, the principal of the BBS College has informed that the 12th standard girl is not from the College as earlier reported.
There was confusion in police department regarding the institution in which the girl was studying which led to erroneously naming the college.
The girl is actually a student of Gorkha Patshala Higher Secondary School, according to police.
The girl made a suicide attempt after jumping from the school terrace.
She was immediately taken to Civil Hospital and later shifted to NEIGRIHMS
