Kohima:Nagaland Minister for National Highways and Mechanical Engineering Nuklutoshi has strongly condemned the bomb explosion that took place in the residential compound of Lanukaba, President of NPF Farmer’s Wing Nagaland at Mokokchung on Friday.

In a statement Nuklutoshi said the Mokokchung Naga Peoples Front (NPF) Division had its General Executive Meeting at Mokokchung on Friday and he came to know about the incident of the bomb explosion only after he reached Kohima. Condemning the incident, Nuklutoshi said as soon as he received the information of the incident he had instructed the Additional SP and the district administration of Mokokchung for an investigation.

He, however, said all the Mokokchung legislators had meeting at the residence of Merentoshi, MLA, at Kohima before they proceeded to attend the General Executive Meeting of the Mokokchung NPF Division on Friday and further disclosed that they all unanimously resolved to forgive and forget their past differences during the meeting.

Meanwhile, the Naga People’s Front (NPF), Mokokchung Division condemned the sinister act of the miscreants who resorted to the most ‘despicable act of cowardice’ by blasting an improvised explosive device (IED) at the residence of the President of the Farmers Wing of the NPF Nagaland at Kichutip Ward, Mokokchung Town on the night of October 24.

Moasangba further demanded the ‘competent authorities’ to investigate the incident and book the culprits without delay. (UNI)
