Assault
On October 25 at around 7.45 pm, unknown miscreants assaulted Binda Khardewsaw (34), looted cash Rs. 4,000 and one cell phone near Old Cherra petrol pump, Shillong.
On October 25 at around 8.30 pm, local residents of Umsohsun, Shillong apprehended and assaulted one Lorshai Mawlieh (23) while he was attempting to rob Lamphrang L. Nonglait (32) at the locality. As a result, he sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.
On October 25 at around 11.20 pm, unknown miscreants assaulted Devender Roy (34) at Lower Lachumiere, Shillong. Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong.
Threat
On October 25 at around 8.30 pm, one Shibun Lipon pelted stones at the house of Sowerly Suting and also threatened her with dire consequences at Pynthor Langtein village (WJH).
Body recovered
On October 25, one decomposed male body was recovered from a culvert at PWD road between Upper Jambal and Silki village under Kharkutta Outpost (NGH).
ATM vandalized
Clofilda Marbaniang, Chief Manager, SBI GS Road, Shillong lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that on October 24 evening, unknown miscreants vandalized the ATM at GS Road, Shillong and also broke the door of the ATM Booth.
