Lapang attends AICC meet in Delhi

SHILLONG: MPCC president D.D. Lapang on Tuesday attended an AICC meeting in New Delhi that was called to formulate plans to commemoration the 125th birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru.

All levels of the Congress, down to the grassroots level, will join hands and be involved in the programmes chalked out by the party for the celebration.

Discussions were also held pertaining to the ongoing membership drive of the party.

It was strongly felt that the enrollment drive must be completed before the deadline fixed.

Instructions were given to complete the entire process as per schedule without any delay or extension.
