Assam CM’s directives for Children’s Day

Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has directed all authorities to observe this year’s Children’s Day in a befitting manner.

This time, the day will be marked by celebrations across all blocks, sub-divisions and districts to promote mutual exchange and understanding among children, official sources said here. The Chief Minister in a special directive has asked to hold various competitions for children.

He has also directed to organise separate events for the differently-abled children.All the autonomous councils have also been requested to celebrate Children’s Day will equal zeal and enthusiasm. (UNI)
