JOWAI: The Jaintia Hills Truck Owners’ Association (JHTOA) has informed that a public meeting on NGT ban on coal mining will be held on Saturday at Kong-ong in East Jaintia Hills District at 11 am.
The JHTOA requested all coal miners, traders, labourers and truck drivers to attend the meeting.
The meeting will discuss the Mookhep incident where two innocent people were killed in police firing on September 24.
