SHILLONG: The 7th National Extension Education Congress-2014 (NEEC-2014) on the theme entitled “Translational Research-Extension for Sustainable Small Farm Development” will be jointly organized by Society of Extension Education, Agra and ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam in collaboration with other Central agricultural universities of the region at ICAR Research Complex, Umiam from November 8-11.
More than 400 delegates from different ICAR Research institutes, Central and State Agricultural Universities and KVKs are expected to participate in the national Congress.
Deputy Chief Minister Rowell Lyngdoh and Health and Family Welfare Minister AL Hek would attend the naugural programme of the Congress.
National Organizing Secretary cum the Director of ICAR, Umiam Dr. S.V Ngachan has also invited the scholars, scientists, students, agri-preneurs, innovative farmers and field functionaries, administrators and policy makers to share their experiences on this 4-day national event.
