SHILLONG: The Vigilance Awareness Week observed by Powergrid, Shillong concluded on Tuesday.
The theme of the Vigilance Awareness Week this year was “Curbing corruption: Technology as an enabler.”
Presiding over the closing function at Powergrid premises in Nongrah, Editor of The Shillong Times, Patricia Mukhim said, “Powergrid is one PSU that celebrates Vigilance Awareness Week with rare enthusiasm with involvement from family members of the staff. Considering that corruption often arises due to unreasonable demands from the home front, it is important that the family members also understand the evils of corruption.”
