Rijiju seeks report on roads in WSiang district

Itanagar:Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju has instructed the head of departments of West Siang district to prepare consolidated report on areas and villages not connected with roads and other need-based infrastructure facilities.

Addressing a meeting in the district yesterday after inaugurating the Paksing Bailey Bridge under Kaying Circle, the minister asked officials to prepare reports so that all the need-based facilities and amenities could be fulfilled in the district by 2019, an official report said here.

“Cent per cent road connectivity will be provided to all villages without basing on population criteria for the state,” he said.Responding to a five point public memorandum pertaining to road connectivity from ADC headquarter to Kaying, improvement of Govt HS School Rumgong, Gase-Gate Road, Miging Miya, Paksing road, he assured to take up all need based connectivity by 2019, the report said.(PTI)
