A petrol tanker truck travelling towards Guwahati was hit by another truck at Umtrew under Umsning Block, Ri Bhoi District on November 13 at 1:30am. Driver of the petrol tanker, Mohan Singh (45, M) was shifted to Umsning CHC.
A truck (ASOISC – 0867) loaded with cement drove off to the side of the road and overturned on the Shillong Bypass near Mawryngkneng junction, East Khasi Hills on November 12 at 11:55pm. Driver of the truck Kumar Chettri (34, M) was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
