Bachchan pays tribute to director-friend Ravi Chopra

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has paid tribute to his friend Ravi Chopra, who passed away following a lung ailment.
Chopra was admitted to the Breach Candy hospital here as he was not keeping well for some time. He died aged 68 on Wednesday. The filmmaker directed Bach-chan in family saga ‘Baghban’ and produced ‘Bhoothnath’ and ‘Bhoot-hnath Returns’ with the 72-year-old actor playing the friendly ghost in both the movies.
Bachchan, who is currently shooting for Shoojit Circar’s ‘Piku’ here, was informed by son Abhishek of Chopra’s demise. He took to his blog to express his grief. “Ravi Chopra, my dear friend and director and producer passed away suddenly on Wednesday… “Filled with grief and sorrow, and unable to find words that could possibly describe what I go through, it is difficult to imagine those days spent together… What does one write on such occa-sions.(PTI)
