SHILLONG: With a view to reduce traffic congestion between Khyndailad and Shani Mandir-Umsohsun junction, the Shillong Traffic Police has come up with some alternate arrangements.
Under the new arrangement, two lanes will be made for traffic flowing towards Motphran and Butcher Road.
Vehicles going to Butcher Road will take the left lane and vehicles going to Motphran and Umsohsun will take the right one.
The bifurcation of lanes will start from near Assam Studio.
The new rules will be effective from November 20.
