SHILLONG: Three dacoits were apprehended in a joint operation of Army and Mehalaya Police in North Garo Hills on Saturday, a delayed report said on Monday.

North Garo Hills SP JFK Marak said that the apprehended persons have been identified as Tengjring Marak Saksel D Momin and Tereng D Marak. Police recovered arms and ammunition from the house of Tereng in New Sarangma village.
