Indian team in Bangladesh for BSF-BGB talks

SHILLONG: IG, BSF Meghalaya Frontier, Sudesh Kumar, on Monday left for Bangladesh with an 18-member Indian delegation consisting of officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and BSF, to hold Co-ordination Conference with his counterpart Md. Latiful Haider, Additional Director General, BGB (NE Region), Bangladesh.

This Commanders- level Border Co-ordination Conference is scheduled at Tamabil, Sylhet district of Bangladesh.

During this conference, issues of mutual interest pertaining to various kinds of crimes on the international border with the states of Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura and Mizoram will be deliberated upon.

B.N. Sharma, IG BSF Tripura Frontier and D.K. Upadhyaya, IG BSF Mizoram & Cachar Frontier are also part of the Indian delegation.
