SHILLONG: Suttarkandi in Assam is exporting Meghalaya coal at a time when Meghalaya export points are not used for export of coal due to the ban imposed on coal mining and export by NGT.

According to sources, the coal export has already resumed from Saturday from Suttarkandi while Dawki, Borsora and Gasuapara export points are dry due to NGT ban.

The extracted coal from Meghalaya is yet o be officially transported outside by the state coal miners.
