Mukul rushes to Delhi

New Delhi: Two days after Home Minister Roshan Warjri resigned from the Cabinet owning moral responsibility for the escalating law and order situation in Garo Hills, Chief Minister Mukul Sangma arrived here on Saturday night.

Sangma is expected to meet the AICC leaders to discuss the prevailing situation on Sunday.

He will also discuss Deborah Marak episode, sources said.

Incidentally, Meghalaya Governor KK Paul is also in the national capital on a prescheduled tour.

Sangma is likely to return to Shillong on Sunday in view of ongoing Assembly session, sources added.
