Katy Perry slams Australian media
Pop star Katy Perry has hit back at the Australian paparazzi after she was allegedly followed along the beach whilst visiting the country for her Prismatic World Tour. The photographers tailing the ‘Roar’ singer allegedly refused to leave her alone unless she posed for them in her swim wear, reported Ace Showbiz. Perry took to Twitter to express her distaste and irritation at the alleged harassment. Perry explained, in an open letter addressed to the Australian press how she was attempting to walk along the beach when she was shadowed by the paparazzi. Perry wrote, although a number of other people on the beach attempted to intervene on her behalf, “the paps continued to laugh at me and hold their barrels up and shoot. They told me to make a ‘deal’ with them. Give them a bathing suit shot and they would leave me be.” Perry was appalled at the incident and described the paparazzi present on the beach as “perverted” and “disgusting”.(PTI)

Pop star Lady Gaga has revealed Elton John saved her, following her two-year battle with a drug addiction. The 28-year-old ‘Pokerface’ hitmaker has revealed how the ‘Candle In The Wind’ star helped her through the hard times, reported Contactmusic. “It’s pretty messed up being friends with people who used to have drug and alcohol problems, like Elton. He got me on the straight and narrow. He was telling me: ‘Gaga, you’re smoking too much’. He saved me,” Gaga said. Gaga is the godmother of Elton and his partner, David Furnish’s son Elijah.(PTI)

Reality TV star Kendall Jenner has said she feels like Hannah Montana because she has two separate lives. The 19-year-old star has forged a career as a fashion model after gaining prominence on hit reality show ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’, and now feels like the Disney Channel character – played by Miley Cyrus – who led two separate lives, reported E! online. “It’s definitely two different worlds. I feel like Hannah Montana. But it’s fun,” Kendall said. The Estee Lauder model – who was recently forced to deny rumours she is dating her friend, ‘As Long As You Love Me’ singer Justin Bieber – said she has grown used to the busy world of showbusiness because she has been on television since the age of 11, when she used to wear outfits which now make her cringe.
